So one of my college apps had asked me to write my top 10 of anything, so I wrote my top 10 ordinary things on my bucket list. I felt inspired to go a lot further than 10 and go a lot crazier than ordinary, so here is everything I want to do with my life before I die.
Ride the world’s tallest roller coaster.
See a meteor shower.
Have something published in a magazine or website. Completed 11/15/11
Learn to play the acoustic guitar.
See all the original Star Wars movies in one sitting.
Travel to London.
Drive across country.
Join an A Capella group.
Go camping for a week without any electronics.
Fall in love.
Sing in public.
Hold someone’s hand (and have it mean something).
Name a star.
Sleep well for a week.
Have a random extras role in a movie, video game, or T.V. show.
Tell everyone how I feel about them.
Celebrate my birthday at Disney World.
Have a day that would be an 11 out of 10.
Go to a college I’ll be happy at.
Write a meaningful poem.
Have a family.
Rescue a dog from a shelter.
Ride a Ferris wheel as a couple with someone.
Go to Australia.
Learn to juggle.
Ride a horse.
Go to the World Series.
Live to see the Mets win a World Series.
Get in touch with one old friend.
Learn to bake.
Send a meaningful letter.
Go back to Italy.
Own a house with a lawn.
Send my own kids off to school.
Have some actual meaning to my work.
Be happy at my job.
Swim with the dolphins.
I wonder how much of this I’ll be able to do, or how much more I’ll add to it. Only time will tell, I guess. :)
I just got home from my last Hofstra ever. It is kinds surreal, I can’t believe I’ve gotten this far. I don’t even know what to think about it, besides being really sad that marching band is coming to an end.
